Showers linger through early Sunday
After a grey start to the week, the scattered showers will likely continue tonight as patchy fog develops. Lows overnight will be dipping into the upper 30s and low 40s. There's also the chance some of these showers could turn into light flurries briefly Sunday morning for folks in the Alleghany Highlands. Otherwise, most of the moisture tapers off early Sunday allowing us to see a few peeks of sun by Sunday afternoon. Highs Sunday will be tricky and a struggle, as they climb into the mid and upper 40s. We could see a few flurries and light rain showers Sunday night as temperatures fall into the low and mid 30s. A linger shower or two could move through Monday as temperatures climb into the mid 50s. The sun finally returns full speed ahead on Tuesday kicking temperatures up into the mid and upper 50s.
