Showers possible

A cold front will move across the area mid day today bringing the chance for scattered showers and storms with it.  Behind the front expect gusty westerly winds which could increase our fire threat through this afternoon. Highs today will be hot & humid in the low to upper 80s.  It looks like the storms will end mid afternoon, for most, allowing skies to clear this evening and overnight.  Temperatures tonight will be cool, once again, in the low to mid 50s.  Thursday will be close to seasonal with plenty of sunshine and highs in the upper 70s to mid 80s.  We’re still seasonal Friday with a few more clouds ahead of another low pressure system.  This system will bring rain chances back to the area late Saturday through Sunday.  High pressure returns again, just in time to kick off next work week.
